About me
My name is Mirte Knieriem and I am originally from the Netherlands. Throughout my career as a psychologist, I have worked in diverse mental health settings, supporting individuals facing various challenges, including addiction, depression, anxiety, and trauma. These experiences have given me invaluable insights into the human psyche and mental health's profound impact on our overall quality of life.
Beyond my expertise in clinical psychology, I am also a certified yoga teacher. Yoga has been an integral part of my life, allowing me to find inner peace and spiritual exploration. Combining the wisdom of yogic principles with my background in psychology, I believe in the transformative power of uniting mind, body, and soul to create harmony and healing.
Nature has always been my sanctuary, providing solace and inspiration. As a certified forest bathing guide and forest therapy practitioner, I facilitate immersive experiences that invite individuals to reconnect with nature. Guiding mindful forest walks and therapeutic sessions, I aim to awaken a deep sense of connection with the natural world.
My approach to mental health is both intuitive and grounded in scientific knowledge. By blending evidence-based practices with the exploration of spirituality and alternative healing modalities, I strive to provide a comprehensive and compassionate approach to mental well-being.
I am currently located in Scandinavia, but I enjoy exploring different corners of the world.
